Meet The Coaches
Meet Coach Julian Slotty, the founder of SmartSoccer and an expert in youth soccer development. Born and raised in Germany, Julian's early exposure to elite soccer included playing in top youth leagues and semipro men's soccer in Europe. His journey led him to the United States, where he played NCAA soccer at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Despite an early retirement due to injury, Julian's passion for the game transitioned into coaching. Holding a UEFA Football coaching license and with expertise in strength and conditioning, he has profoundly impacted the soccer scene in South Florida. Coach Julian is dedicated to developing young talent, integrating advanced training principles, and fostering athletic excellence.
Alongside his coaching prowess, Coach Julian Slotty has excelled as a college recruiter, guiding over 100 athletes to realize their dreams of playing collegiate soccer in the U.S. His comprehensive approach to athlete development and recruitment has opened doors for numerous young players at prestigious soccer programs nationwide.

Meet Coach Patrick Nettekoven, founder of HEXER Goalkeeping Academy, whose illustrious soccer career began in Cologne, Germany. A standout talent, Patrick played at the highest youth levels for Bundesliga powerhouses like 1. FC Cologne, Fortuna Düsseldorf, and Bayer Leverkusen. By 18, he turned professional with Fortuna Düsseldorf, making his mark in the 3. Liga and 2. Bundesliga over four years. Patrick's extensive experience, including training with world-class goalkeepers and coaches, informs his visionary HEXER Goalkeeping program, designed to elevate young goalkeepers to championship levels.
Patrick leverages his extensive network to help young goalkeepers secure placements in prestigious leagues like MLS NEXT and ECNL. He facilitates their recruitment to top colleges and professional clubs in the US and Europe.

Meet Coach Ali Koller, a former professional-level player in Germany and the founder of his own high-performance soccer academy. With a strong playing background and years of experience in elite environments, Ali brings intensity, professionalism, and passion to every training session.
After his playing career in Germany, Ali continued his development in the United States, competing at a high collegiate level for both Young Harris College and Lynn University. His experience across European and American soccer gives him a unique understanding of player development and the demands of the modern game.
Known for his energetic coaching style and attention to detail, Ali creates a demanding but positive training environment that pushes players to improve technically, physically, and mentally.
